    The Heavy Equipment School's Operator Course consists of three levels. Level 1, Mobile Equipment Fundamentals & Safety, covers safety topics, mobile equipment systems, and inspections. Level 2, Mobile Equipment Operating, introduces students to operating machines, including pre-inspection, operator controls, and shut-down procedures. Both Level 1 and Level 2 include theory and practical training, with evaluations consisting of written and practical tests. Level 3, Mobile Equipment Operator Advanced: for the Diploma Course Path is an internship in a registered heavy equipment company, lasting 3–4 weeks and involving 40 hours of in-seat practice. And for the Certification Course Path is a period of 20–30 hours on-the-job.
